Dr. Wion has several years of patient care experience in primary care and urgent care. She is an experienced preceptor in medical education family medicine residency programs where she helps teach future family medicine physicians. She treats patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors.

As a family physician, Dr. Wion enjoys providing wellness, prevention and illness healthcare for patients in all age groups, especially young children as well as older adults. She enjoys helping young patients through their healthcare needs as they transition into adulthood and she also enjoys hearing her older patients speak of their lives and various life experiences. These insights, and a truly long term relationship with her patients, helps Dr. Wion provide the best care. Patients choose Dr. Wion as their physician because she is practical and down to earth yet thorough in her care for them. She provides individualized care and enjoys good humor also. 

As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Wion sees the patient as a whole person. She treats patients not just as persons with disease processes to be managed or treated, but as people who possess spiritual, mental and physical needs. Her goal is to assist patients in achieving their best health in all three realms to the highest level possible.  Dr. Wion truly listens to each patient, and possesses the skills to partner with her patients to walk with them through the journey toward wholeness and healing. She believes in a multi-modal approach to health with medications being just a part of the tools available to be used. Dr. Wion also uses osteopathic manipulation where possible in caring for her patients.
